YES You Can! Suite of Lessons
Health and Character Lessons for grades 5–12
Utilized in over 285 public and private schools in 12 states, YES You Can! (YYC!) uses hands-on, interactive lessons with a focus on developing good character. Through developmentally appropriate lessons that mature in content, YYC! highlights the physical, emotional and social impact of high-risk behaviors including early sexual activity. Each YES You Can! level provides educators with classroom handouts and manipulatives.

5th/6th Grade: YES You Can...Commit to Character!
The focus is on developing good character traits, evaluating friendships, the changes that occur during puberty, the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, bullying, boundary setting and knowing that making healthy decisions and avoiding high-risk behaviors are critical to success.Learn more and order
Middle School: YES You Can…Experience True Freedom!
These activity driven lessons build a connection for young people between their current actions today to the realistic impact, either positive or negative, that those actions will have on their future. They develop personal boundaries, acquire tips for making good relationship choices, learn the stages of fetal development, discuss drug and alcohol use, review STDs, develop prevention strategies and practice taking a personal stand.

Lower High School: YES You Can…Make Smart Choices!
Two interchangeable high school suites of lessons are available, each delivering a unique educational focus that will help students make smart choices and build healthy relationships. Schools are strongly encouraged to include both in order to provide students with the complete package of necessary skills and understanding.
Classes are driven by explainer videos that students find unique and entertaining. They evaluate their own personality type, discuss the warning signs of troublesome relationships, rate their risk of exposure and learn that sexual intimacy involves all dimensions of the human person. Pregnancy, fetal development, STDs, relationship abuse, assertiveness skills and boundary setting activities are covered.Learn more and order
Upper High School: YES You Can…Build Healthy Relationships!
Students learn about the emotional effects of intimate bonding, the steps necessary to build healthy relationships, how to analyze the messages of the culture, and evaluate the power of today’s choices for tomorrow’s outcomes. They will review the complexity of human sexuality, identify the influence of pornography, evaluate the life altering reality of early pregnancy, develop personal limits and build skills to avoid high risk behaviors.Learn more and order
